8-10-01: We have not been told to evacuate, but it does not look good from where we are. The fire has tripled in size. Since the staging area and water sources are on our property, I'm not worried about our home. It's literally surrounded by choppers and fire-fighting equipment. Nick can be seen in the lower right hand side of picture one watching the red water bucket going into the pond. Aflac and Geico have left the pond and are seeking comfort with cement duck on lawn area picture two.
