| The mission of
the Applegate School Foundation is to preserve, support and enhance
quality education at Applegate School through community fundraising,
grant writing, and lobbying efforts.
After a busy year lobbying the legislature to fund Oregon schools at a sufficient level for the 2003-2005 biennium, our energy is now being directed toward fundraising efforts. We still believe it is critical that Oregon develop an adequate and stable source of school funding and we will continue our lobbying efforts on behalf of our children. At the same time, we want to develop our own secure funding to assure the continued vitality and excellence that makes Applegate School (and Applegate) the special place that it is! Other Applegate School Foundation projects include developing programs to bring resident artists into our school, organizing partnership activities between our school and the Applegate community, and providing additional educational opportunities to enhance our children's education. We are busy planning fundraising activities to allow us to meet these objectives. Thank you for visiting our site. We hope you will help us with our efforts.
